I'm not so sure that you're living in a small town compared w/ your friends. By my math (based on Wikipedia's figures), Albany's population density &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albany,_California" rel="nofollow"&gt;is nearly 10,000 people per square mile&lt;/a&gt; (Albany's land area is only 1.7 sq mi; the rest -- 3.8 sq mi -- is water). Little Rock metropolitan area density is &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Rock,_Arkansas" rel="nofollow"&gt;under 200 people per sq mi&lt;/a&gt;, &#38; city limits is under 2000. So Albany is more than 5 times more urban the Little Rock.</description>
